Envelope Manufacturers Association Recognizes Instant
Web as Industry Safety Leader
Chanhassen, Minn. (May 21, 2001) The Instant Web
Companies, a combination printing, envelope conversion and mailing services
company, has been recognized as an Industry Safety Leader
by the Envelope Manufacturers Association (EMA).
The Instant Web Companies has again shown not only
their market leadership, but also their leadership in human factors,
said Maynard H. Benjamin, CAE, president of the Envelope Manufacturers
Association. The EMA Safety Leaders Award recognizes those companies
that have truly attained excellence in safety management and we are proud
to recognize Instant Web as a safety leader in our industry. The employees
of Instant Web are to be congratulated on this significant accomplishment.
The annual EMA award is given to companies with lost
time cases of 1.5 or below for injuries and illnesses in the year
2000. Only 25 companies received safety awards.
In the year 2000, Instant Web Companies had a low
injury/illness incident rate of .91, said Steve Myrvold, director
of operations-envelope, Instant Web Companies. Instant Web completed
a stretch of 662 days with no incidents, which shows our devotion to a
culture of safety for our employees.
The Instant Web Companies, headquartered in Chanhassen,
Minn., has served the North American printing and mailing market for over
30 years. The Instant Web Companies provides integrated printing, envelope
and mailing services for direct marketers.
