The Instant Web Companies
Adds Inline Finishing Capabilities
New Service to Cut Cycle Time, Increase Savings
and Accelerate Product Delivery for Customers
Chanhassen, Minn. (Dec. 19, 2000) The Instant Web
Companies, a combination of printing, envelope conversion and mailing
services companies, has added inline finishing to the companys
growing list of services aimed at direct marketers. The custom-designed
inline finishing unit features four-ribbon capacity, a Scheffer rotary
cutter and pocket gluer and a WPM shallow relief die unit. A WPC Image
Recognition Cutoff Control controls print to cutoff.
Inline finishing will cut production cycle time
because no additional finishing is required, and the process will also
conserve paper, two steps that ultimately save the customer money and
result in faster product delivery, said Lawrence Garlick, Instant
Web, director of operations-printing. Enhancing our direct-mail
options to include inline finishing capabilities continues Instant Web's
efforts to improve operational efficiencies and reduce production costs.
Instant Webs new inline finishing unit will provide
creative formats such as label affixing, pop-ups and backbone pasted
pages. Additional inline finishing services include:
- Four-, six- and eight-page inserts.
- 3 1/2 book up to 22 3/4 book.
- Contour cuts on panel sides.
- Folds from 1/2 to 18.
- Die cut windows and pockets
