IWCO Direct Completes Acquisition of Valpak® Production Facility in Elm City, North Carolina
Chanhassen, MN (December 19, 2007) – IWCO Direct, the nation’s leading provider of integrated direct mail production services and solutions, announced it has completed the acquisition of Cox Target Media’s Valpak® Production Facility in Elm City, North Carolina.
In October 2006, IWCO Direct announced an agreement to purchase the Valpak® production facility. The agreement included a phased transition to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2007. IWCO Direct has been producing work in North Carolina since February. In October 2007, IWCO Direct announced its intent to expand the North Carolina facility beyond the initial plan to include an industry-leading “Super Commingle” site to drive postal optimization strategies for IWCO Direct clients. With the expansion, this operation is expected to generate more than $80 million in revenue and employ more than 500.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
